Stormshadow

Storm Shadow Productions is a film production company nestled in the heart of Big Sky Montana. Founded in 2003, Storm Shadow was originally based out of Bozeman before moving to Madison County in 2004. For the past five years our company has been bringing the adventures and lifestyle of promising Montana skiers/boarders out of the alleys and backcountry and onto the big screen. Over the years we have watched with amazement and pride as our crew and the scene as a whole have grown and matured. Once snow obsessed, little groms have now become socially minded, eco-concious leaders for the youth within our community. Ski bums who once surfed couches and lived off Ramen now own their own clothing and graphic design companies, teach architectural design at universities, or have become photographers, artists, and engineers. All the while staying connected to the mountain, community,  and culture that has so definitively shaped their lives. We have watched and helped them to  grow and change, and in doing so have been changed ourselves. In making our films it had always been about the action, adventure,  cinematography. Now we see that the action and the film are just the vessel. A vessel to carry our message to the masses and the next generation of groms coming up. Storm Shadow Productions is a company dedicated to making original films that entertain, captivate and educate the audience. Our mission: to help raise awareness for various community projects around Montana.
